Practice outdoor sports and stay in Vale Pisco
Among the many benefits of practicing sports, we highlight its importance in preventing diseases and combating stress and anxiety, which are so essential at this stage we are going through.
Several studies show that people who walk regularly have a lower mortality rate than sedentary people, with a reduction in cardiovascular diseases and better cognitive function.
The choice of sport to practice depends on each person’s physical condition. However, it may be necessary at this time to consider doing simple physical activities throughout our surrounding area. For example, choose to go for a walk, a run or a bike ride.

Birdwatching
The wetland of Paul de Tornada and the surrounding area constitutes a flooded area during periods of greater rainfall. This system of ditches, with a south-north flow direction, flows into the Tornada River, which, in turn, flows into the São Martinho do Porto shell. Wetlands make it an attractive site for nesting and migratory birds. Among the birds you can see here are the purple heron, the tawny hawk, the thrush, the hunting harrier and, if you are lucky, the bluethroat which is very rare in Portugal. And much more, see the list of birds below.
Alternatively, in our leisure areas you can observe numerous local birds.
Stargazing
Our Quinta has two relaxation areas in the middle of the olive grove, with chairs, sun loungers and tables that allow you to watch the stars in the silence of the night.
